Fruity Blueberry Cocktail

A blue cocktail on this festive day, does that inspire you?! We are step by step through our first glass of savory!

The entire ChefTouski.com team wishes you a Happy New Year!

Does a blue cocktail on this festive day inspire you?! We are step by step through our first glass of savory!

Here is a little story behind this recipe…Recently, the co-owner Cathy visited the honey house la Grande Ourse . It is a honey farm in the region, in the village of Saint-Marc-de-Figuery. She took part of a beekeeping safari.

A nice meeting between the owners and the customers. An original and instructive activity with lots of great discoveries.

She returned to the office with products from the honey house, including a blueberry mead.

Our brainstorming of a cocktail for Saint-Jean Baptiste celebrations didn't take long since ChefTouski took care of the rest!

Since it's hot, even very hot, we asked ChefTouski, using the Vin & cie Accords tool, to develop a recipe of a fruity and blue cocktail.

Starting with the blueberry mead of course. Another request we made to him was that the cocktail had to go well with a fresh salad! (The BBQ will be for later in the evening.)

Here is the recipe he made for us. Note that we tested it (as well as the photographer) and it's unanimous, it's a perfect cocktail for today!

Remember that no matter what you have at home, ChefTouski can whip you up the perfect cocktail for this festive day.

Fruity Blueberry Cocktail

Here is the cocktail recipe that I recommend to accompany your fresh salad!

Ingredients:

  • 45 ml blueberry honey mead

  • 30 ml fresh lemon juice

  • 15 ml cane sugar syrup

  • 15 ml blue curaçaos liqueur

  • 10 ml raspberry leaguer

Directions:

1. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, pour the blueberry honey mead, fresh lemon juice, cane sugar syrup, blue curaçao liqueur and raspberry liqueur.

1.Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.

2.Strain the mixture into a cocktail glass filled with fresh ice.

3. Decorate your cocktail with a slice of lemon and a cherry.

This cocktail is sweet and fruity, with a beautiful blue color that matches your preferences perfectly. It will go perfectly with the freshness of your salad and will be a refreshing choice to accompany your meal.

Bon appetit!
